On the other hand, it is always Easter for Christians, since we believe that Christ is truly Risen, and we strive to live in that truth.
Today’s photo is a splendid expression of our joy at Easter, celebrated in a particular way in our abbey church each year. Prior Bonaventure is the monk in the photo and he is certainly one who expresses delight in the knowledge of the Resurrection of Christ, by a life of faith, hope and love.
May we always and everywhere be “Easter people,” not only during the fifty day Liturgical season of Paschaltide, but every day of the year, as we live our lives in the belief that Christ has conquered death once and for all.
