Living in a part of the United States suffering drought conditions, we were happy to wake up to freshly fallen snow in the Chama Canyon, several inches of it no less.

Not likely to remain on the ground very long, the “silence made visible,” as snow is sometimes called, provides some much-needed moisture.

Matty the donkey and some of our hens seem to be completely at home in the snow. In fact they are no strangers to such weather and fare well through it all.

We still don’t know when we can open up again and are thankfully staying well in the midst of desert beauty.

We keep you in our prayers and count on yours.
