Our newest lamb, named Wisdom, now just two weeks old, is hale and hearty and pictured below with two of her “aunts,” Ginger and Gloria. Little Wisdom is completely accepted by the entire flock of our Navajo-Churro sheep, and even our guard-donkey Matty, now a year old, plays her part in showing Wisdom the ropes for communal living.
As the weather turns colder, though still fairly mild for late November, the sheep and donkey have “Good Shepherd Inn” in their pasture for taking shelter. For the most part, though, all of them prefer to remain in the great outdoors, rain or shine.
