Four monks studying in Rome at Sant’Anselmo, including our Brother Gregorio, recently received the minor ministries of lector and acolyte. These two ministries are required before being ordained a deacon in the Catholic Church.
Our Benedictine Abbot Primate Gregory Polan conferred the minor ministries on the following monks: our Brother Gregorio (second from the left in the photo below), as well as (from left to right) a monk of Downside Abbey in England, Brother John; Cuernavaca Monastery in Mexico, Brother Gregorio; and Einsiedeln Abbey in Switzerland, Brother Meinrad.
