With the reduction of the wildfire in our area, thanks to hundreds of firefighters, as well as rain, our Guesthouse is open once again.

To enhance the contemplative experience of our guests on retreat, and to balance the workload of the monks, we now limit the number of guests on retreat to ten at a time.

Often when people are trying to make reservations online, they ask why they can’t book a room, and the answer is that the system cuts off the number of available rooms once ten people are booked for a retreat. Needless to say, the Guesthouse fills up fast. Thank you for your understanding.

Of course day visitors and pilgrims are welcome. We don’t provide meals for day visitors and pilgrims, so plan to pack a lunch if you are here for midday Office in church at 1:00 pm. Our Sunday Mass is at 9:15 am. Weekday Mass is at 7:00 am.

We are staying well, thanks be to God, enjoying a lot of produce from our greenhouse and outdoor garden, under the care of Brother David, and are looking forward to the next great liturgical solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15th.

Construction continues on a new portal where we get in and out of our cars at our cloister. It will especially be a welcome addition during the winter months.

We keep all of our families, friends and benefactors in our prayers. Thank you for your support and prayers.
