Our Ranch House courtyard wall is beautiful once again! The plastering crew finished on Wednesday this week. The last plastering on the wall was some decades ago, and held up well until fairly recently.
The strong sunlight and cold winters of this part of the great Southwest do their share of damage to buildings, but hopefully no more need for re-plastering at Saint Benedict’s Ranch House until mid-century, at the earliest!
The fine crew of “Rio Chama Lath and Plastering” will next repair the low walls at the handicap ramp leading to our church. That work will occur in September.
We are slowly but surely tending to maintenance projects at the Monastery. Many we are doing ourselves and some are done by professionals.
With greetings and prayers from Abbot Christian and the monks
