Say the name, “Brother Jude,” and many of our friends will say, “Raffle monk.” Yes, Brother Jude is a consummate fundraiser, specializing in raffles.
In this time of nearly a year with our Guesthouse and Giftshop closed, we have been seeking various creative ways to assist in paying our bills and carrying on with life.
On Sunday, January 10th, we had the drawing for our recent Raffle. Donations were made by family, friends and benefactors for 900 tickets. That raised nearly $45,000.00, five thousand of which went to nine lucky winners.
Five hundred dollars prizes each were won by the following eight people:
Mau V., Douglas A., Max S., Larry T., St Anthony Parish, Melissa B., Angie S. and Adam M.
The grand prize of one thousand dollars was won by Rosemary V.
