The Easter Season, often called Paschaltide, extends from Easter Sunday until Pentecost Sunday, which this year occurs on May 28th.
This means that the Liturgy of the Church, the Mass and Divine Office, is filled with the great Easter cry of “Alleluia,” and the Scripture readings focus on the fact of Christ’s rising from the dead.
Our church remains adorned throughout the Easter Season with Easter lilies, and when these fade, other flowers are arranged around the Easter Candle, the altar, and the lecturn, where Scripture is proclaimed.
As the days grow longer and warmer, flowers appear in our land or are purchased for decorating our church.
To all our families and friends we extend our greetings and prayers in this joyful season of the Lord’s Resurrection. May God bring us all together to everlasting life!
Please keep us in your prayers as well. Thank you.
