Strawbilt Systems Intro |
Sustainable lumber production is a method of harvesting timber and managing our forests, which has a minimal impact on the environment and increases the health and production of our forests. In many parts of our world, forests are disappearing and they don't have to. Wise harvesting and good forest management provide wood for future generations, which preserve watersheds, provide wildlife habitats, stabilize community economics and help to ensure the biodiversity necessary for healthy human life. In more recent years a grass roots movement has developed in countries all over the world which endeavors to preserve forests through certification programs. |
