The monks of Christ in the Desert proudly announce the introduction of a line of monastic style sandals called FORERUNNERS. Recalling the Biblical model of the monk and forerunner of the Lord, St. John the Baptist, whose sandal he was not worthy to unfasten. Our sandals represent a tradition of Benedictine craftsmanship and labor by which the community helps to support itself.
